Suir
The River Suir (Irish: An tSúir) is a major river in the southeast of Ireland. It rises in the Comeragh Mountains in County Waterford and flows generally southeast through Counties Waterford and Tipperary before emptying into Waterford Harbour on the Celtic Sea. The Suir is one of Ireland's longer rivers and runs past towns such as Clonmel, Carrick-on-Suir, and Cahir before reaching the coast. Its estuary forms Waterford Harbour, where the river meets the sea.
