FSXs
FSXs commonly denotes the Microsoft Flight Simulator X product line, including the original 2006 release and its later editions and community add-ons. Flight Simulator X was developed by Microsoft Game Studios and released in 2006 as the successor to Flight Simulator 9. It targeted personal computers running Windows and became one of the most widely used civilian flight simulators of its era. The base package introduced improved graphics, weather effects, AI traffic, and a redesigned virtual cockpit, along with a broader range of aircraft and airports. Additional editions and content releases expanded the offering, with Deluxe and Gold editions providing more aircraft and scenery, and the Acceleration expansion in 2007 adding helicopters, new missions, and further performance features.
