Energisensor
An energisensor is a sensor system designed to monitor and quantify energy flow in electrical and, in some cases, related systems such as thermal or mechanical processes. It typically measures electrical parameters such as voltage, current, power, power factor, and energy consumption over time, producing data that can be used for monitoring, analysis, and control. Energisensors may be standalone devices, paired with data loggers, or integrated into larger energy management systems and smart grid infrastructures. They can include features such as digital interfaces, wireless communication, and local processing, enabling real-time dashboards, alerts, and automation.
Common implementations use Hall-effect sensors or current transformers for non-contact current measurement, combined with voltage sensing
Applications include building energy management, industrial process optimization, utility load monitoring, and integration with renewable energy
Energisensor is sometimes spelled as one word or two; the term is used variably in industry literature
