Elutsüklis

Elutsüklis is a coastal city and regional capital located on the eastern coast of the archipelago region of Ellara. The city surrounds a natural harbor at the mouth of the Elut River and is backed by low hills and mixed forests. The urban area houses about 60,000 residents, with a wider metropolitan agglomeration totaling around 75,000. The climate is temperate maritime, characterized by mild winters, cool summers, and relatively even precipitation.

Founded in the medieval era, Elutsüklis developed as an important trading and administrative center in the early modern period. Its economy today is diversified, with fishing and seafood processing, port-related services, light manufacturing, and growing tourism. The city hosts the regional government administration, a campus of the national university, and several research facilities focusing on marine science and coastal engineering.

Culturally, Elutsüklis features the Seabreeze Festival, a historic shipwright quarter, and the Old Harbor Museum. The urban layout blends historical waterfront districts with modern neighborhoods, and the city places emphasis on green spaces and flood-resilient infrastructure. Governance is by a directly elected mayor and a 15-member city council. Transportation relies on the harbor for freight and passenger traffic, a neighboring highway corridor, and a regional bus network; a short ferry connection links Elutsüklis to nearby islands.
