Elmal
Elmal is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Elmal first appeared in Thor #274 in August 1978. Elmal is a member of the Frost Giants race. He is a son of Ymir, the king of the Frost Giants. Elmal possesses immense superhuman strength and durability, typical of his race, and can withstand extreme cold. He also has some magical abilities associated with ice and cold. Elmal has often been depicted as a formidable warrior and a loyal follower of his father. He has clashed with Thor and other Asgardian heroes on multiple occasions. His motivations are usually tied to the expansionist goals of the Frost Giants and their animosity towards Asgard. Elmal has played a role in various conflicts between the Frost Giants and the forces of Asgard, often serving as a lieutenant or champion for Ymir. While not as prominent as some other Frost Giant characters, Elmal remains a recurring antagonist, representing the threat posed by the denizens of Jotunheim. His appearances tend to be in storylines involving major invasions or conflicts originating from Jotunheim.
