DSLmodeemin is a term used to denote a customer premises device that provides connectivity to a digital subscriber line (DSL) network by functioning as a modem. In typical deployments, a DSLmodeemin connects to a telephone line and to a local network via Ethernet, USB, or Wi‑Fi. It may be a standalone modem or integrated with routing capabilities, sometimes marketed as a modem-router or gateway.
