DCIP3
DCI-P3, often written as DCI-P3 or DCIP3, is a color space defined by Digital Cinema Initiatives (DCI) for digital cinema mastering, distribution, and exhibition. It specifies a particular set of red, green, and blue primaries and a reference white point that together establish the range of colors that can be reproduced by compliant imaging systems.
The primaries for DCI-P3 are chosen to yield a wider gamut than the traditional Rec. 709/ sRGB
Applications and impact: DCI-P3 is the established standard for digital cinema projection and post-production color grading.
