Cannabina
Cannabina is a small genus of flowering plants within the family Cannabaceae. It is closely related to the well‑known genus Cannabis, and the two genera share a number of morphological similarities such as the presence of trichomes and a dioecious reproductive strategy. Four species have been described, the most widely recognized being Cannabina indica and Cannabina sativa, which occur in various parts of the Himalayas and Southeast Asia. The plants generally grow as herbaceous perennials or shrubs with fibrous, branching stems covered in fine hairs. Leaves are alternate, with a palmate or ternate arrangement and often exhibit a slightly glaucous surface.
Cannabina species are commonly found in disturbed habitats such as roadsides, grasslands, and forest edges, thriving
