CMMSERP

CMMSERP refers to software solutions that combine or tightly integrate a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform. The goal is a unified data model and workflows that manage maintenance operations together with enterprise processes such as finance, procurement, and supply chain.

Core capabilities include asset registry and lifecycle management, preventive and condition-based maintenance planning, work order creation and tracking, labor and skills management, spare parts and inventory control, procurement and vendor management, and cost tracking with reporting. Mobile access and analytics are common features, enabling field technicians and managers to access real-time information.

Two implementation approaches exist: a fully integrated suite from a single vendor that covers CMMS and ERP, or a CMMS module integrated with an ERP system via APIs or middleware.
