C919
The C919 is a twin-engine, single-aisle narrow-body airliner developed by the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC). Designed to compete with the Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 families, it is sized to carry about 158 to 168 passengers in a typical two-class configuration and to fly ranges suitable for short- to medium-haul routes.
Development began in the early 2000s as part of China's effort to build an indigenous large aircraft.
