BiCMOS
BiCMOS stands for Bipolar CMOS. It is a semiconductor manufacturing process technology that combines the advantages of both bipolar and CMOS (Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor) transistors on a single integrated circuit. This hybrid approach allows for the creation of circuits that leverage the high speed and current driving capabilities of bipolar transistors, along with the low power consumption and high input impedance of CMOS transistors.
The fundamental idea behind BiCMOS is to integrate different types of transistors onto the same silicon die.
BiCMOS technology is often employed in applications where both high speed and low power are critical. Examples
