Außenwanddämmungen, also known as external wall insulation, are systems applied to the exterior surfaces of buildings to reduce heat loss. The primary purpose of an Außenwanddämmung is to create a continuous thermal barrier around the building envelope, preventing heat from escaping in winter and entering in summer. This leads to lower heating and cooling costs and a more stable indoor temperature.
