Asexualsyhteisöihin, often translated as the asexual community, refers to the collective of individuals who identify as asexual. Asexuality is generally defined as experiencing little to no sexual attraction towards others. This community encompasses a diverse range of people with varying experiences and perspectives on relationships, intimacy, and romantic attraction.

Within the asexual community, there is a recognition of a spectrum of asexuality, acknowledging that not all asexual individuals experience attraction in the same way or with the same intensity. Some may experience romantic attraction without sexual attraction, leading to identities like aromantic asexual or demiromantic asexual. Others may experience sexual attraction rarely or under specific circumstances.

The asexual community provides a space for individuals to connect, share experiences, and find support. It aims to raise awareness and understanding of asexuality, challenging misconceptions and promoting acceptance. Online forums, social media groups, and in-person meetups are common ways for members of the asexual community to interact. The community also advocates for the inclusion of asexuality in discussions about sexuality and relationships, and works to combat aphobia, which is prejudice or discrimination against asexual people.
