Aláírást

Aláírást is the Hungarian term for the act of signing a document, and it is also the accusative form of aláírás, meaning a signature. Etymologically, aláírás comes from alá- (under) and írás (writing), referring to the act of writing one’s name beneath a document to indicate consent, authorization, or confirmation.

In legal and practical contexts, a signature serves as a person’s identifiable mark that confirms agreement to the contents of a document, authorizes actions, or grants consent.
