Aluskasvi

Aluskasvi, or underground plant, refers to a broad category of plants that grow primarily beneath the soil surface, relying on various adaptations to thrive in low-light or shaded environments. These plants are often found in forests, grasslands, or other areas where sunlight is limited at ground level. Unlike typical aboveground plants, aluskasvi species have evolved specialized structures to store nutrients, water, and energy, allowing them to survive in conditions where photosynthesis is difficult.
