Accelerationism
Accelerationism is a family of political and philosophical ideas that urge speeding up social, technological, and economic processes in order to provoke radical change or to overcome existing systems. It is not a single doctrine but a contested set of positions centered on capitalism, technology, and the future, with divergent aims and methods. Broadly, it comprises left and right currents: one seeking to redirect technological acceleration toward emancipatory political projects, and another embracing acceleration as a force inherent to capital’s logic.
