APDRProzess

APDRProzess is a term used in German-speaking business process management to denote an automated workflow for the Accounts Payable Data Reconciliation process. It typically refers to the set of activities that handles the intake of supplier invoices, extracts and validates data, matches invoices to purchase orders and goods receipts, and posts the resulting liabilities in the financial system. The goal is to shorten processing times, reduce manual input errors, and create a traceable audit trail.

The typical sequence includes receipt of electronic or scanned invoices, data extraction using OCR or AI-based technologies, automatic matching against purchase orders and receipts, rule-based validation and exception handling, posting to accounts payable and general ledger, and initiation of a payment run followed by archiving and reporting. Roles involved often include AP clerks, approvers, and IT systems such as the ERP, a document management system, and possibly RPA bots.

APDRProzess is enabled by a combination of technologies, including optical character recognition, machine learning for data extraction, workflow orchestration, and secure ERP integrations.
