AGILUS

AGILUS is a line of compact, high-speed six-axis industrial robots manufactured by KUKA, a German robotics company based in Augsburg. The AGILUS family is designed for small-part handling tasks such as picking and placing, packaging, assembly, and machine tending in manufacturing and logistics environments. The robots are characterized by a small footprint, light weight, high reach relative to size, and rapid motion, enabling operation in tight spaces and high-cycle applications. They use servo-driven joints controlled by KUKA's robotics software and can be integrated with vision systems, grippers, and external sensors. The line comprises several models with different payload capacities and reach lengths to suit various automation tasks; configurations typically target applications requiring fast cycle times and precision.

AGILUS robots are paired with KUKA's programming and simulation tools, including offline programming and simulation environments,

Over time AGILUS has been positioned as a versatile solution for small-format automation, offering quick installation,
