ADRer
ADRer is an informal, colloquial term used to describe a person who performs automated dialogue replacement (ADR) work in film, television, and other audiovisual productions. More commonly called an ADR artist, ADR performer, or ADR actor, an ADRer re-records dialogue in a controlled studio environment to replace or augment production sound. This can be necessary for technical reasons (background noise, poor on-location audio), creative choices (line changes, language dubbing), or continuity and performance enhancement.
