This allows for immediate feedback and direct social interaction. Another established method is distance learning, which utilizes various media to deliver educational content to learners who are not physically present in a classroom. This can include correspondence courses, radio or television broadcasts, and more recently, online learning platforms.

Online learning, also known as e-learning, has become increasingly prevalent. It encompasses a wide range of approaches, from fully online courses with scheduled live sessions and independent study to blended learning, which combines online components with traditional in-person instruction. Self-directed learning is another important form, where individuals take the initiative and responsibility for their own learning, setting their own goals and pace. This often involves independent research, experimentation, and problem-solving.

Other learning forms include vocational training, which focuses on practical skills for a specific trade or profession, and experiential learning, which emphasizes learning through doing and reflecting on direct experiences. The choice of learning form often depends on the subject matter, the learner's needs and preferences, available resources, and desired outcomes.
