vyjdeme

Vyjdeme is the first-person plural present tense form of the Czech verb vyjít, a perfective verb meaning to go out, to leave a place, to emerge, or to be published. As a perfective form, vyjít expresses completed action and is often used to indicate a future event rather than a current one.

In usage, vyjít describes a contingent act of leaving or starting a movement, such as leaving a building, beginning a journey, or the publication of a work. Because vyjít is perfective, the present tense commonly conveys a future sense: vyjdeme can mean “we will go out” or “we will leave,” depending on the context. It appears in sentences about planned actions, upcoming departures, or scheduled releases.

Conjugation in the present tense is: já vyjdu, ty vyjdeš, on/ona vyjde, my vyjdeme, vyjdete, oni vyjdou. The verb is typically paired with appropriate adverbs or prepositional phrases to specify direction or purpose, for example, vyjdeme ze dveří (we will go out through the doors) or vyjdeme na procházku (we will go out for a walk). The past tense is formed with the corresponding past participles and auxiliary markers, e.g., vyšli jsme (we went out).

Vyjdít has related forms with imperfective aspect, such as vycházet, which covers repeated or ongoing actions, e.g., vycházím ven každé ráno (I go out to the street every morning). The term vyjdeme is thus primarily a grammatical form used in everyday Czech to express leaving, emerging, or publishing actions in a completed-aspect framework.
