Toplardamarlar, commonly known as *topside veins* or *superficial veins*, refer to the larger blood vessels located just beneath the skin’s surface, particularly in the legs. These veins are responsible for carrying deoxygenated blood from the lower extremities back toward the heart. Unlike deep veins, which lie within muscles and are protected by surrounding tissues, toplardamarlar are more exposed and vulnerable to external pressure or injury.
The most prominent toplardamarlar in the legs include the great saphenous vein and the small saphenous vein.
