teadluse
Teadluse, commonly known as tea lice or tea mites, are tiny arthropods that occasionally infest tea plants (*Camellia sinensis*), particularly in regions where tea is cultivated. These organisms belong to the order Prostigmata, a subgroup of mites, and are not true lice, despite their name. They are most frequently encountered in high-altitude tea-growing areas, such as those in China, India, and Sri Lanka.
Teadluse are microscopic, measuring only about 0.2–0.5 millimeters in length, and are often pale or translucent
Controlling teadluse involves a combination of cultural, biological, and chemical methods. Regular pruning and proper field
Teadluse are not directly harmful to humans but can indirectly affect tea quality by stressing the plant.
