Sijoitusyksikkö is a Finnish term that literally translates into English as “investment unit”. It refers to a legal or accounting entity that holds and manages financial assets on behalf of investors. The concept is commonly used in the context of mutual funds, pension funds, hedge funds, private equity funds and other collective investment schemes that pool capital from multiple investors to achieve diversification and professional management.
