Setimbang is a term often encountered in the Indonesian language, generally translating to "balanced," "equilibrium," or "in balance." It describes a state where opposing forces or elements are equal, leading to stability and lack of movement or change. This concept can be applied in various contexts.

In a physical sense, setimbang refers to a state of equilibrium where an object is at rest, neither accelerating nor rotating. For example, a book resting on a table is in physical setimbang as gravity pulling it down is counteracted by the normal force from the table pushing it up.
