Sejtközpontra is a term used in cell biology to describe the localization or movement of cellular components toward the interior, central region of a eukaryotic cell. The word is formed from sej t (cell) and központ (center) with the directional suffix -ra, indicating motion toward the center. In Hungarian biology literature, sejtközpontra may appear in discussions of intracellular transport, protein targeting, and organelle positioning.

In many cells, the central region around the nucleus and the microtubule organizing center (MTOC), often the centrosome in animal cells, serves as a reference point for spatial organization. Localization to the cell center is achieved through regulated trafficking along cytoskeletal networks, primarily microtubules and, to a lesser extent, actin filaments. Motor proteins drive this transport: dynein generally moves cargo toward the minus ends of microtubules near the cell center, while kinesins more commonly move toward the periphery; cargo adaptors and signaling states determine specific targeting.

The concept is relevant for maintaining cellular organization, coordinating signaling pathways, and ensuring efficient cell division and response to stimuli. Abnormal sejtközpontra localization can indicate changes in cell polarity, centrosomal function, or vesicular trafficking, and may be observed in developmental processes or disease states.
