The aim is to monitor equipment, cues, performers, and environmental conditions in real time and to document any deviations for timely correction.

Key aspects include cue management and timing, monitoring stage machinery and automation (such as rigging and fly systems), ensuring proper lighting and sound cue synchronization, and overseeing safety of set pieces, props, and access routes.
