saponifikációjával
Saponifikációjával refers to the process of saponification in Hungarian. Saponification is a chemical reaction in which a fat or oil, which is an ester of glycerol and fatty acids, reacts with a strong alkali (such as sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide) to produce glycerol and the alkali salt of the fatty acids. These alkali salts of fatty acids are commonly known as soap.
The general chemical equation for saponification is:
Ester + Alkali -> Glycerol + Salt (Soap)
In the context of making soap, animal fats or vegetable oils are heated with an alkali solution.
Historically, saponification was a crucial process for hygiene and cleaning. Traditional soap-making involved boiling animal fats
