Rodsilmän is a Finnish concept that translates to "rod eye" in English. It refers to a 124.2 km road route in Finland, commonly used for touring and sightseeing. The road is a northern part of the Karhunkierros hiking trail, passing through different landscapes such as forests, lakes, and hills.

The route generally starts from Punsu and runs northwards, often along the shores of lakes, where hikers and travelers can observe the local wildlife. The terrain includes peatlands, moors, and fell environments, showcasing the diverse Finnish landscapes. Rodsilmän traverses the Liimatta and Kiilopää fells, considered to be some of the region's most scenic areas.

This road route was initially created for hikers but has since become a popular destination for those in search of scenic drives. Although it's not exclusively a motor road, it is often used for touring motorhomes and cars. The scenery and the surrounding environment make it a sought-after destination for nature enthusiasts. The closed season for activities like motorboating and four-wheel driving typically falls within the winter months when icebreaking maintenance and land stability might be challenged.

Rodsilmän and its surrounding environment offer a range of outdoor activities, such as hiking, trekking, and wildlife spotting. Angelo and other track travelers often take advantage of local ferries and provide their boats to move along as the river indicates. Many small wildfire management system cabins are located along the route to monitor conditions.
