Karhunkierros
Karhunkierros, meaning Bear’s Round, is a long‑distance hiking trail located in Oulanka National Park in Kuusamo, Finland. The route forms a roughly circular loop around the Oulanka River valley, connecting diverse boreal landscapes, from spruce forests and mires to rocky ridges and river viewpoints. The trail is about 80 kilometers in length and is typically completed in four to six days, although pace and stops can vary. It can also be tackled as a series of day trips for those who prefer shorter sections.
