Common use cases include exchanging holdings between personal finance apps, robo-advisors, and custodians; importing or exporting educational portfolios that demonstrate competencies or project work; and archiving performance history for audits or research. Portfoliots support data privacy controls, provenance, and consent management to govern who may access specific portfolio details.
