Ohjaussauvoja, commonly known as joysticks, are input devices used to control the movement of a character or object in a video game or other graphical interface. They typically consist of a base containing a lever or stick that can be moved in multiple directions. The movement of the stick is translated into signals that the connected device interprets as commands.
Early joysticks were often mechanical, relying on physical contact points to detect the position of the lever.
Joysticks are particularly popular in flight simulators and racing games, where the precise and continuous control
