Noninverted means not inverted; opposite of inverted; used to describe systems where the relationship between input and output remains the same, preserving phase or polarity.

In electronics, a noninverting amplifier or buffer yields an output that is in phase with the input and preserves signal polarity. The standard op-amp configuration uses the input at the noninverting (+) input with negative feedback to the inverting (-) input. The closed-loop gain is typically 1 + R2/R1 for a noninverting amplifier. By contrast, an inverting amplifier flips the signal, producing a 180-degree phase shift and usually inverts polarity.
