nevládní

Nevládní is a Czech adjective meaning not belonging to or controlled by the government. It is commonly used to describe organizations, actors, and activities that operate independently from state institutions. The most frequent usage is nevládní organizace, i.e., non-governmental organizations (NGOs). In Czech, other common formulations include nevládní nezisková organizace or nezisková organizace, and the acronym NNO (nevládní nezisková organizace) is often encountered.
