Näyttötyypin refers to the type of display technology used in electronic devices. This encompasses a range of methods for converting digital signals into visual output that users can see. Common display types include Liquid Crystal Displays (LCD), Light Emitting Diodes (LED), Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLED), and more recently, MicroLED.

LCD screens work by passing light from a backlight through a layer of polarizing filters and liquid crystals. The arrangement of these crystals controls how much light passes through, creating images. MicroLED is an emerging technology that uses microscopic LEDs for each pixel, promising even greater brightness, longevity, and energy efficiency than OLED, though it is currently more expensive to produce.
