Mikrokana is a Kazakhstani rock band that gained popularity in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The group consisted of three members: Dzhambai Shapken, Igor Gulya, and Reinhold Svetinin. Their music style is often described as a blend of postmodern grunge, ambient, and heavy metal.

Formed in 1994 in Almaty, Kazakhstan, mikrokana released their debut album, "Scissors," in 1996. The album received positive reviews in local music critics and attracted a small but dedicated fan base. Their subsequent albums, including "Still no king" and "LP," further solidified their position as one of the most innovative and experimental bands in Kazakhstani rock.
