Meteorologer is the plural form of the term meteorolog in several Scandinavian languages and refers to professionals who study the atmosphere and forecast the weather. The field of meteorology encompasses the scientific understanding of atmospheric processes, weather phenomena, and climate.

Meteorologers work in national weather services, research institutions, airports, media, and private forecasting firms.
