Jõukohaseid (also known as "jogging horses" or "fitness horses" in English) refer to a phenomenon observed in some equestrian disciplines, particularly in endurance riding and certain training methods, where horses are encouraged to maintain a sustained, moderate-to-high level of physical activity over extended periods. This practice is rooted in the idea that regular, controlled exercise can improve a horse’s cardiovascular fitness, muscle tone, and overall health, similar to how humans engage in jogging or aerobic training.

The concept gained attention in the late 20th and early 21st centuries, particularly in countries like Estonia, where endurance riding is a popular sport. In Estonia, "jõukohaseid" became a cultural term for horses that are systematically trained to build stamina, often through long-distance rides or structured conditioning programs.
