isolait

Isolait is a term used in speculative design and building science to denote a class of advanced insulating materials. It is not a single material but a concept for a composite insulation system intended to maximize thermal performance while minimizing thickness.

Applications and performance: Prototypes described under the isolait concept point to potential for high R-values per thickness and improved dew-point control.
