intagliolike
Intagliolike refers to a visual or aesthetic quality that resembles intaglio printing. Intaglio printing is a process where the image is incised into a surface, and ink is applied to the grooves, with the excess ink wiped away. The paper or other substrate is then pressed onto the surface, drawing the ink out of the grooves. This results in a raised, tactile print.
An intagliolike appearance, therefore, suggests a design that has depth, shadow, and a sense of being carved
The term is not a formal art historical or technical term but rather a descriptive one used
