Frekvenciaerforrások, often translated as frequency sources, are essential components in electronics and telecommunications that generate oscillating signals at specific frequencies. These are increasingly prevalent in modern communication systems due to their flexibility and programmability.

The performance of a frequency source is typically characterized by its stability, accuracy, spectral purity, and output power. Stability refers to how much the frequency deviates over time and with changes in temperature or voltage. Accuracy indicates how close the generated frequency is to its intended value. Spectral purity describes the absence of unwanted side frequencies or noise. The output power is simply the strength of the generated signal.
