The capital is Veldsburg, and the country has a population of about 4.2 million. The official language is Frakkian, with widespread use of Nordic and Elarian in urban and border regions.

Historically, Frakkia evolved from a cluster of medieval principalities that unified in the mid-19th century following regional conflicts. A modern constitution was adopted in 1994, establishing a constitutional republic and a framework for civil liberties.
