Extravertáltság is a personality trait characterized by a focus on the external world and a tendency to derive energy from social interaction. Individuals who score high on extraversion are typically outgoing, talkative, and assertive. They often enjoy being in the company of others, seek out new experiences, and can be easily bored when alone.

The concept of extraversion was popularized by psychologist Carl Jung, who contrasted it with introversion. While extraverts direct their energy outwards towards people and activities, introverts tend to focus their energy inwards on their thoughts and feelings. It's important to note that extraversion exists on a spectrum, and most people fall somewhere between the extreme poles of extraversion and introversion.

Extraverts often exhibit higher levels of dopamine activity in their brains, which is associated with reward-seeking behavior.
