Crowdile is a fictional semi-aquatic predator described in modern fantasy and speculative fiction as a hybrid of a crow and a crocodile. The name combines the crow and crocodile, reflecting a creature said to blend avian intelligence with reptilian power. It is typically portrayed as adaptable and cunning, able to exploit both land and water environments.

In most depictions, crowdiles are medium-sized, measuring about 1.2 to 1.8 meters in length. They have a crocodile-like torso and tail covered in dark, iridescent scales. The head resembles that of a crow, featuring a sharp, curved beak and keen eyes. A feathered crest may run along the neck, and the forelimbs are sturdy with clawed digits; some illustrations show wing-like flaps that enable short glides or powered escapes.

Crowdiles inhabit riverbanks, mangrove swamps, and shadowed forests near water. They are ambush predators that combine aquatic and terrestrial hunting strategies, using patient, stealthy approaches to prey. Their crow heritage is linked to enhanced problem-solving abilities and a varied vocal repertoire, including crow-like calls alongside low croaks. They feed on fish, amphibians, small mammals, and, occasionally, scavenged carrion or nest raiders, often exploiting hidden prey or discarded food sources.
