Columnarlike is an adjective used to describe objects or forms that resemble a column in shape or silhouette. It denotes elongation along a vertical axis, a relatively uniform cross-section, and often a solitary pillar or upright arrangement. The term is descriptive and informal, used across disciplines to convey a columnar impression without implying functional equivalence to a true column.

In geology and earth science, columnarlike features may refer to rock bodies or weathered structures that display column-like geometry but do not maintain the exact regularity of classic columnar jointing.
