Treatment for arrhythmias depends on the specific type, its cause, and the severity of symptoms. Options range from lifestyle modifications, such as managing stress and avoiding stimulants, to medications that control heart rate or rhythm. In some cases, procedures like electrical cardioversion, catheter ablation, or the implantation of a pacemaker or defibrillator may be necessary.
