In electronics and telecommunications, amplificació refers to devices that raise signal amplitude. An amplifier has input and output, with gain defined as the ratio of output to input. Key considerations include linearity, noise figure, bandwidth, and efficiency. Common types include voltage, current, and power amplifiers, used in audio, radio, and instrumentation.
