Aktuatora, in engineering usage, refers to a device that converts input energy into controlled mechanical motion. In English, the term is actuator. Aktuators are used to move or position components, regulate force and torque, or provide force amplification in automated systems. They can produce linear displacement or rotary motion and are driven by electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic energy, among other sources.

Designers balance cost, size, and complexity; hydraulic systems provide high power, pneumatic systems are simple and clean, electric actuators offer precise control and digital compatibility.
