Acrostichoides is a small genus of flowering plants belonging to the family Rosaceae, specifically within the subfamily Maloideae. The genus is closely related to the more well-known genus *Malus*, which includes apples and crabapples. Acrostichoides currently contains only two recognized species: *Acrostichoides lutea* and *Acrostichoides arbutifolia*, both native to North America.
