Zverev

Zverev is a surname of Slavic origin. The name is most commonly associated with Alexander Zverev, a German professional tennis player, and his elder brother Mischa Zverev, who has also competed on the ATP Tour.

Alexander Zverev was born on 16 April 1997 in Hamburg, Germany, to Irina and Alexander Zverev Sr. He began playing tennis as a child and was trained primarily by his father. He turned professional in 2013 and quickly rose through the ranks, developing a powerful serve and an aggressive baseline game.
